to the information from different parties of the opposition policemen in civilian
clothes with the active assistance "red bereted" captured about 30 persons
from the streets. A part of captured people was members or adherents of "Republic"
party as it was in 2003-2004.The policemen captured the manager of central
office of "Republic" party Artak Hakobian on the crossroad Mashtots-Sayat-Nova
in the car with Georgian state numbers /NAH/. Artak Hakobian was also providing
for technical part of demonstrations. He was set free in some hours.According
to the information from "Republic" party a group of people in civilian
clothes captured by force Saghatelian Karen who was the member of "Republic"
party of Maralik structure, the adherent of the party Petrosian Levon and Sukiasian
Misha, Manukian Margarita the head of NDU Malatia-Sebastia structure, the local
observer and NDU member Eranosian Vrej and went in unknown direction.Edgar
Hakobian was brought to the Police station from "Heritage" party. The
representatives of this party and the RA NA deputy Grigor Haroutiunian went to
the police station of Arabkir for knowing the reasons of Edgar’s arrest. The duty
wasn’t allowed to visit E. Hakobian and the chief of police of Arabkir refused
of meeting with him and promised to set Hakobian free in 20 minutes. Certainly
they didn’t set. The party also sent a written question to the policemen of Arabkir
for giving explanations.Two members of "New Times" party also were
brought to the police station yesterday. The number of captured people was about
30 yesterday evening. "I don’t think that they choose the parties. They
simply arrest. They choose the easiest way and capture. This is a simple strategy
and has been used for many times. It shows that the authorities are frightened
of these demonstrations, of loosing their authority,"- the leader of "Republic"
party noticed who also didn’t exclude that the policemen perhaps would visit some
persons’ houses.At the same time the head of the RA OSCE office Vladimir Pryakhin
and the RA defender of Human Rights Larisa Alaverdian would be informed about
