The
facts of the referendum falsifications will be produced to the PACE Armenian
office.The plenary sitting of the PACE winter session will take place from
23-27 of January and the Armenian delegation in PACE will leave for Strasbourg
today. As other members used to leave for Strasbourg and the leader of "Justice"
group Stepan Demirchian leaves for the first time as a member of delegation, we
addressed some questions to him. We were interested whether the PPA leader was
going to raise the question of illegalities of the referendum, especially the
"Justice" representative in the CEC Felix Khachatrian’s produced facts
were rather impressive. Answering to our question Stepan Demirchian said that
Felix Khachatrian would produce the whole information about falsifications of
the referendum to the PACE Armenian office. As regards his speech in the PACE
sitting S. Demirchian noticed; "The problem of Armenian referendum as a separate
question isn’t included in the agenda but it is included in the report of bureau
and if there is an opportunity of the speech, don’t doubt, our appraisals about
the referendum will be produced by all means."The head of PACE temporary
commission who was monitoring the referendum Thomas Jirsa proposed in his report
that the parliament should be engaged in falsifications during the referendum
and the head of Armenian office of the same structure Boyana Urumova was for the
above mentioned proposal.The former member of the Armenian delegation in PACE
Shavarsh Kocharian sent a letter to the CE Committee of Ministers for preventing
destruction of the cemetery of Nakhijevan and for taking arrangements for it.
We were interested whether Mr. Demirchian would follow the achievement of this
proposal: "Certainly we will also follow the duration of Shavarsh Kocharian’s
raised question and we’ll express our opinion if it is necessary."Stepan
Demirchian will take part in the works of two commissions; social and commission
of culture and science. Mr. Demirchian said that he was leaving for Strasbourg
