Robert Kocharian would say if he took part in the sitting of “Anticriminal” sitting yesterday.
“Anticriminal” movement was trying to discuss the coming issues of the movement. There were some proposals, the author one of which was Paruyr Hayrikian. He had produced a draft of announcement which based on his favorite theme; on the necessity to detect the KGB agents and publish their names. “I propose all agents, starting at Andranik Margarian, to plead guilty. After being forgiven the state must forbid them to fill state positions for 5 years”, – Mr. Hayrikian said and added,-“who doesn’t plead, will be judged by the corresponding law.” In Mr. Hayrikian’s opinion; “this is an important and strategic issue, if it doesn’t become a matter of core importance, it will mean to have ignoring position in criminal demonstrations”. There were also the following sentences in the announcement: “the agents in state system are more dangerous. Filling high positions in the state system they serve for the agent network on which they depend morally and materially. That’s why they sell all Armenian establishments of strategic importance to “our strategic partner” Russia .
None of the participants of discussion wasn’t against the initiative, but there were some exceptions, so it was decided to give time to be introduced to the content of announcement and make discussions round it in the following sitting.
Aram Karapetian himself proposed to discuss the problem of agents who were involved in the political sphere, the matter of benevolent political organizations and the activities of its leaders who have launched the process of rigging the elections.
“NU” representative Garik Tadevosian suggested forming a group inside “Anticriminal” which “will be engaged in getting answers and names about criminal figures from law enforcements agencies. He also made another proposal, to examine the activities of those politicians who are engaged in benevolence. And to hold listening on “The role of information in the struggle against criminal”.
Hovhannes Hovhannisian who was leading the sitting also made a proposal. He welcomed the initiatives of “Civic movement”, “Alternative” oppositionist unions to oppose the regime and suggested “Anticriminal” to join with them. “The authority mobilizes its powers, the opposition must also mobilize”.
