Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the representative of the Armenian Consulate General in Rostov is regularly visiting the Upper Lars Checkpoint and the consulate is constantly keeping in touch with the local authorities regarding today’s incident on the highway.

As the ministry reports the trapped citizens have been provided with necessary items, food, as well as with medical assistance in case of necessity.

We urge all the Armenian citizens located in the checkpoint to contact with the Armenian Consulate General in Rostov with the following number: +7.863.207.67.51.
