The first three on the proportional list of the “Yelk” alliance are known: Edmon Marukyan, Aram Sargsyan, and Nikol Pashinyan. This was announced a while ago by “Bright Armenia” party board member Mane Tandilyan. Recall that the “Yelk” alliance was formed based on a memorandum of understanding by “Bright Armenia”, “Civil Contract” and “Republic” parties. The decision was made lately as a result of the vote. Thirteen members from each political party participated in the voting.
In his speech, leader of the “Republic” party, Aram Sargsyan, half-jokingly and half-serious noted, “Edmon Marukyan’s being successful is not a myth but a reality.” Edmon Marukyan thanked his colleagues for their trust and said that this was a surprise for him and stated that the success of overall mission does not depend on who is where. They work as a team for a common idea.
