Aram Sargsyan: ‘It is not a “Tsarukyan” alliance, but a “Republican Party-2″’

March 28,2017 09:32

A member of the “Yelq” Alliance, a leader of the “Republic” party Aram Sargsyan announced during the election campaign in Vanadzor that the “Yelq” Alliance will be the winner in these elections and the Republican Party is fearful.  In his speech, Aram Sargsyan also referred to Gagik Tsarukyan.  He believes that the population is attending the “Tsarukyan” Alliance only for receiving a financial aid, “Gagik Tsarukyan is really a phenomenon.  When he goes somewhere, millions of people gather, but they are sending millions of letters.  In any of the letters, it is written, give money.  It is very natural.  The richest man of Armenia is visiting regions where the poorest people are living.  What will these people want from the richest man, an idea?”

The candidate running for the parliament stated that people should not vote for the “Tsarukyan” alliance on April 2 because this alliance, in his words, is the “Republican Party-2.”  I was always saying when you enter the voting booth, take the ballots and firstly throw the RPA ballots into the trash.  Now, dear people, I am saying when you enter the voting booth, firstly throw the “Tsarukyan” Alliance ballots together with RPA ballots into the trash.  Because it is not a “Tsarukyan” Alliance but a “Republican Party-2″, they are working with passes, stealing like a vacuum-cleaner, seizing our votes.  Serzh Sargsyan has allowed him to enter the field just to seize our votes.  It is for this that I am fighting against this alliance.  Otherwise, there is nothing personal, what personal matter I can have with Gagik Tsarukyan.  He is a phenomenon, and who am I?”  At the meeting with the electorates, Aram Sargsyan also spoke about Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan.  He believes that the Prime Minister is “a man not aware of our country.”
