“The functionaries did the maximum not to politicize this important political event,” said the parliamentary candidate of the “Yelq” Alliance, Arayik Harutyunyan, during the meeting with the journalists on March 31 at the “Blitz Info” Press Club.
He noted that the leaders of the RPA, Tsarukyan Alliance and the Armenian Renaissance parties refrain from debates, “The voters must draw conclusions from this. According to their social polls, Karen Karapetyan whose rating is 82 percent is afraid to participate and refrained from any debate. This causes a serious concern.”
The representative of the “Ohanryan-Raffi-Oskanian” Alliance, Andranik Grigoryan called this campaign the dirtiest election campaign in the second decade of the 21st century, “The ruling political force showed in this election campaign that there is a regression. We started from Chinari and finished with Yerevan, passed through shooting, stabbing, garbage and dirt. We offer an idea, we offer an alternative, they are responding to us with arrests and intimidation.”
The candidate of the “Free Democrats” Alliance, Narek Ayvazyan considers the election campaign of the Alliance quite productive, “We have not bothered our citizens with our pompous pledges, with any excessive events, we had the chance to meet people very modestly and simply, and present our ideas and program. I think we are going to have a pretty good result.”
