‘Their right’: Ombudsman on appeal against ‘Union of Informed Citizens’ by headmasters

April 14,2017 06:36

Ombudsman of the Republic of Armenia Arman Tatoyan is concerned with the fact that the scandalous exposures by the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO encompass school headmasters.

“For me children’s provision with education is important”, told Arman Tatoyan during the press conference. He highlighted what the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO did and considered extremely inadmissible the publicization of Daniel Ioannisyan’s personal data: “I will be consistent as what path the criminal proceedings with this regard will pursue.” According to the estimation of the ombudsman if some headmasters have taken Daniel Ioannisyan to court for publicizing their records, this is their right: “But I require all administrative bodies not to attempt to implement their work in such methods which will comprise children.”
