The President of the State Committee of Water Economy of the RA Arsen Harutyunyan presented the program of implementing a 100 million cubic meters additional water intake from Lake Sevan in the second reading. He told that they have taken into consideration the remarks made by the MPs at the plenary session.
One of the main remarks concerned whether the additional water intake from Lake Sevan referred to 2017 alone because from the reading they understood as if it would be continual. They have stipulated it in the program to escape a misunderstanding. “Additional fee” expression was also criticized, particularly by Vardan Bostanjyan. It has also been corrected.
Eventually, the program was put to vote and adopted by 77 for and 4 against.
