Armenia-Diaspora PanArmenian 6th Conference kicks off in Yerevan today. The conference has four directions: Armenia’s Development issues, Peculiarities of the Defense Policy of the Republic of Armenia under the Contemporary Challenges, Foreign Policy Agenda, and Issues of preservation of the Armenian identity.
The first thematic session on the Development Issues of Armenia is entitled “Development of Armenia’s Economy and Investments”. The speakers of this session are CEO of the Armenian Development Foundation Armen Avak Avakyan, Head of KPMG Armenia Tigran Gasparyan, Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia Ara Hovsepyan, Executive Director of the European Business Association in Armenia Diana Sarumova, vice-president of the organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Eurasian Partnership Karen Galustyan, Sam Samuelyan, founder of the American company “Capital Motors”.
Panelists address the problems and challenges of the Armenian economy, strengthening the role and effectiveness of the Armenian Diaspora in the development of the Armenian economy, Armenia’s trade and economic cooperation with US, EU countries, EAEU member states, and the benefits of doing business in Armenia.
