Current year to be crucial for Artsakh: State Minister of Artsakh

Notwithstanding the two-digit number of GDP growth, no increase of salaries and pensions will take place in Artsakh, which is conditioned by the inter-state agreement with Armenia, inasmuch as, according to the agreement, Armenia and Artsakh should conduct the same fiscal policy, informed the State Minister of Artsakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan. The State Minister, addressing to the inflation speed in Artsakh market, mentioned that in the latest observations have revealed that the average prices of product types are the same or have varied until 2%. The prices of petrol and diesel fuel have grown, however, the gas price has remained unchangeable.

Speaking about the to-do list of 2018, Arayik Harutyunyan informed that firstly from the perspective of metal mining greater work will be done this year. “From the perspective of ore processing, increasing the progress by 40 and plus percent is planned in the second term of the year. Besides this, we also have a great prospect in non-metallic mining product”, he mentioned.
