Officials from Armenia and Artsakh visited Tsitsernakaberd today to pay tribute to the victims of Armenian Genocide.
Representatives of the Republican Party elite avoided journalists’ questions at Tsitsernakaberd memorial. Their security guards hindered the work of journalists, preventing them from asking questions to the high-ranking officials.
President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan, acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, member of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan, as well as President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan, Hranush Hakobyan and Armen Amiryan, refused to answer journalists’ questions.
Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan hurried to leave and said he would not answer any questions.
