“I call upon the citizens of Armenia to vote completely for the RPA because Armenian citizens cannot vote for the ruling party. Every vote for them will be like fire on Artsakh. Whether or not someone considers themselves a citizen of Armenia is their own business,” RPA candidate David Shahnazaryan said during a press conference.
He was invited to the National Security Service because of his announcement on November 27th, but he did not go.
Shahnazaryan said, “I call upon police officers, security workers, and all other workers in that system: don’t make it so that you are responsible with them. Defend the state from this evil called a revolution. This is the greatest evil created against our state and Artsakh. Don’t send me any more papers like that after this, because I do not treat the NSS the same way that I did before. Send a writ. You can arrest me or issue an order to arrest me. The Soviet Union was unable to stop me and thousands of others 30 years ago with its powerful KGB and with its prisons and army. So, take a deep breath and wake up. The rule of this current ruling party will be short-lived. It will be shorter than you expect. Don’t become one of Pashinyan’s accomplices.”
