President Armen Sarkissian hosted former French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner
President Armen Sarkissian hosted a delegation led by Bernard Kouchner, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France and Founder of the organization Médecins Sans Frontières.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacotte as well.
Bernard Kouchner arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the “Aurora” humanitarian initiative. He visited Artsakh as well.
Welcoming the guests, President Sarkissian thanked them for visiting Armenia and Artsakh during these difficult days and for being with the Armenian people. “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” said the President, emphasizing that the Armenian people highly appreciate the efforts of support from friendly France.
