The Byurakan Village Headman’s Son Committed a Suicide on Election Day

According to the information www.aravot.am possesses, the son of Seyran Sargsyan, the headman of the village of Byurakan (former Gyulubulagh), the district of Amasia, the region of Shirak, committed a suicide on the morning of election day. According to some information, the latter has left a note asking not to blame anyone. According to the circulating news, the youth is a serviceman and has shot himself with his government-issue weapon.

Today is his funeral.

Officials of the regional administration of Shirak communicated to us that Seyran Sargsyan, the father of the youth who had committed a suicide, had been elected the headman of this village once again and who was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and basically hadn’t had a rival.

By the way, another suicide took place in Gyumri yesterday. A 75-year-old man by the name of Martun who lives at 31 Aram Khachatryan Street, the neighborhood of Ani, Gyumri, stabbed himself. They were not able to rescue him in the hospital, news is circulating that the reason was his sickness.
