‘Fingerprint identification a matter of few days:’ ORO representative

April 16,2017 03:24

“Experts say that it is a matter of a few days to identify fingerprints, but the commission has rejected our application, arguing that it is a difficult and time-consuming process,” Andranik Grigoryan, the Central Electoral Commission representative of the “ORO” bloc,  announced during the press conference.

Note that the union has applied to the Administrative Court appealing the CEC above-mentioned decision. The Administrative Court has rejected the appeal.

Grigoryan mentioned, “The official number of the citizens participated in the elections is doubtful. In 2013  the official number of the general election participants was less than this year. In addition, the population of the RA is regularly decreasing, “.

Teresa Sargsyan, “ORO” bloc candidate, noted, “2 million 564 thousand 244 citizens have been registered, but there are not so many voters in the RA.”
