“No question for refreshing cars is risen, just these cars have been serving for about 10 years and are already outdated”, Artur Tovmasyan, Head of the Fatherland faction of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly, told Aravot.am, referring to the recently purchased luxury service cars for governmental bodies.

In all normal countries, service cars are being refreshed. For new cars to work smoothly no expenditure is made for the first few years. In this regard, keeping old cars will be costlier.

Besides, there are some people’s names related to the issue, but it is possible that these individuals will not hold their office soon. The phenomenon should not be linked to the person. The service car belongs to the state, to the official and not to the individual himself”, noted Artur Tovmasyan.

According to him, there are many facts in the modern history of Artsakh, when vehicles were donated to Artsakh by the Armenian authorities, as well as by various wealthy people.

“I trust the president and prime minister of our country, and knowing them well, I’m sure that they will not lavish. Their top priority and full attention at this point is basically the frontline, ensuring the security of our soldiers and people”, noted the head of the faction.
