The European Union has supported the creation of the first solar-powered bus stops in the Armenian capital Yerevan. A video released by the EU Delegation to Armenia shows how citizens can now charge their mobile phones while waiting for a bus in the city. Each solar-powered bus stop can fully charge up to 24 phones each day using renewable energy.
