Serzh Sargsyan, former President of the Republic of Armenia, Leader of the ruling Republican Party has been elected as the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia with 76 “for” and 17 “against” votes in the special session of the Parliament.

Let us mention that in order to be elected, Serzh Sargsyan needed to gain 53 votes.
